The Handyman is responsible for performing repairs and maintenance in various areas as directed by department supervisors and management. The role ensures that all equipment is maintained according to the agreed standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide feedback to supervisor/management
• Participate actively in maintenance activities
• Ensure compliance with local codes and practices
• Maintain general knowledge of emergency procedures
• Adhere to occupational safety standards
• Possess general knowledge of complex facilities
• Understand shrinkage/breakage handling procedures
• Ensure proper handling and storage of materials
• Maintain good communication with colleagues and supervisors

Qualifications

• Grade 12
• Basic knowledge and experience in general handyman work
